1. About us
These terms are between you and Flatout Furniture Assembly Ltd, trading as Flatout Home Services (“we”, “us”). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Our services
We provide furniture assembly, TV and wall mounting, handyman, kitchen and bathroom installation and related home services, booked online, by phone or by email.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book or use our services.

4. Your obligations
You agree to give accurate, current and complete information when you book; not to use our website for illegal purposes; not to provide false information; and not to attempt to access systems not intended for you.

5. Prices and VAT
Prices are quoted in GBP. Prices for private customers include VAT. Prices for business customers are shown excluding VAT, with VAT added.

6. Payments and deposits
For most jobs, payment is made in full, either online at checkout when you book or upon completion of the service. Kitchen and bathroom installations, and any job valued over £500, require a 20% deposit when you book, with the remaining balance due on completion. Your quote will show if a deposit is needed and how much. We take payments through secure third-party payment providers (for example Stripe and PayPal). By making a booking, you authorise the processing of your payment through those providers.

7. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel on the day of your appointment, a cancellation fee of £30 applies. There is no fee for cancelling before the day of your appointment. Refunds for prepaid services will be issued in accordance with the specific circumstances and at our discretion.

8. Workmanship guarantee
Kitchen and bathroom installations come with a 2-year workmanship guarantee. TV wall mounting, flatpack assembly and handyman work come with a 1-year workmanship guarantee. Full details are on our Workmanship Guarantee page.

9. Liability
We are not liable for damage caused by manufacturer defects, improper use of products, or pre-existing conditions at your property. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

10. Intellectual property
All content, logos and materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Flatout Furniture Assembly Ltd. You may not use, reproduce or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
